It's a Wonderful Life is not only the best Christmas movie, it is one of the best, most uplifting, movies of all time.

I know you love anything and everything about Star Wars, but to it on the list and not Scrooge is just not right. ;)
The movies on the list "Its a Wonderful Life" is #1 followed closely by "The Nightmare before Christmas" and "A Charlie Brown Christmas".

This is impossible to choose a favorite Christmas movie! My favorites I have to watch every year are White Christmas and Mickey's Christmas Carol, but I voted for Holiday Inn as my favorite because it is possibly my favorite Bing Crosby movie of all time.

I love Jimmy Stewart but don't find myself wanting to watch Wonderful Life every year.

Lastly, I would like to encompass the Star Wars original trilogy as a favorite Christmas movie because at our house, it's not Christmas until the red and green lightsaber duel has been fought.

I voted for Christmas Story and Muppets Christmas Carol - but to be honest... it's a wonderful life probably tops it... I just wanted to spread the love!

Jeremiah and I watched It's a Wonderful Life last night. I completely agree with Sean. It is not only the best Christmas movie, it is probably one of the best movies ever made. Period.

I greatly enjoy quite a few of the movies on your list. One I would have added is The Little Drummer Boy. It is in that Holiday Classics DVD pack that has Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer. It actually made me tear up a little bit when I was watching it this last time.

Merry Christmas and thanks for the fun Christmas posts!

See, I'd throw my hat in the ring for Star Wars (just because), but the Muppets will always win this one for me, hands-down. Hearing the opening music and seeing the Jim Henson tribute card = shaking and crying. Overall, I'm with you: those songs will stay in your head for...ever.

I'm glad you included the multiple choice option. It is really hard to pick just one!!! So many good ones. I wouldn't say it was my favorite of all time, but I think the movie I was most surprised by was White Christmas. I didn't remember liking it that much as a kid, but it really was cute to watch.
